Just been watching the news about this 'Israeli' soldier, seems that the 'Israelis' want to win favour with the British. Well Balfour made a mistake with his letter to Lord Rothschild, and we are not bound by it, no parliament (nor parliamentarian) can bind future parliaments, nor electorates. The UN of the past, thus, cannot bind the UN of the future....
